Menomena @ ATP NY 2009 (more by Ryan Muir)

Menomena's new record, Mines, comes out July 27th on Barsuk. Check out a track from it - the sax dirge "Five Little Rooms" - posted above. The Portland band has a big tour of North America planned for this fall. That includes an October 1st show at NYC's Webster Hall. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon.

Menomena has a previously unreleased song featured on a compilation put together by PDX Pop Now!, a non-profit that hosts an annual fest of the same name (running July 30th-Aug 1st this year). Also on the disc are Blitzen Trapper, Talkdemonic, Hockey, Laura Veirs, Talk Talk and more.
