Pegasus Warning

Pegasus Warning (aka NYC musician Guillermo E. Brown) is probably best known for the artists he’s collaborated with, which include CANT, Das Racist, Twin Shadow, Spoek Mathambo, Saul Williams, Tortoise, Anti-Pop Consortium, El-P, Arto Lindsay, Jamie Lidell, and more. But there’s a good chance that will change when he releases his debut EP, Woof Ticket, this February. The EP features the single, “Nothing2Show,” a soul and rock inflicted electro cut that wouldn’t sound out of place on Bloc Party’s Intimacy. You can stream that single and a Gordon Voidwell remix of the track below.

Pegasus Warning will be playing a hometown show at The Bowery Electric TONIGHT (11/28) with Vernous and DJ Sexy Precious. Doors are at 9 and admission is $10 for tonight’s 21+ show.

As mentioned, one of Guillermo’s collaborators, Jamie Lidell has a new self titled album coming out this February too. If you were a fan of the abrasive R&B of that album’s single, “What A Shame,” you’ll probably find something to like in Pegasus Warning also.
