As mentioned, Montreal's Valleys will release their new album, Are You Going To Stand There And Talk Weird All Night?, on April 30 via Kanine Records. The duo just released the video for first single, "Undream a Year," which finds singer Tillie Perks stuck in a dreamlike surreality from which she must escape. You can watch it below.
Valleys will play NYC tonight at Pianos with Praha Depart, Bowmont, Man Without Country (who play our official SXSW showcase), and Late Guest at the Party. Tickets are still available. The band then head to Texas for SXSW like 73% of all the bands in the world. After that the band join up with Fol Chen for a tour that hits NYC at Glasslands on April 4. Tickets are still available for that show as well. All tour dates -- including their SXSW schedule -- are listed below.
Montreal's Valleys have announced details of their new album, Are You Going To Stand There And Talk Weird All Night?, which will be out April 30 on Kanine Records. The record was produced by Alec Dipple of legendary UK indie band The Monochrome Set and you can check out the track list and genuinely terrific cover art below.
While no tracks have been released from the album yet, you can watch a live session of LP cut "See the Moon?" from Pop Montreal 2012 below. Valleys will be going on tour this spring on their way down to Austin during SXSW, including a stop in NYC at Pianos on March 7 with Praha Depart, Bowmont, Man Without Country, and Late Guest at the Party. Advance tickets are available.
After that, the band do a short East Coast tour in April with Fol Chen, including stop in NYC at Glasslands on 4/4. No advance tickets for that show just yet, but you can check out all upcoming Valleys tour dates below.
