Yes @ Susquehanna Bank Center, 8/3/2013

Progressive rock gods Yes hosted their own festival in Camden, NJ on August 3 at Susquehanna Bank Center named, appropriately, Yestival. The fest, part of a larger swing of dates, featured the band performing a trio of classic LPs in their entirety including The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, and Going for the One. In addition, the festival featured appearances from Carl Palmer's ELP Legacy, Renaissance and The Music Box (performing the Genesis favorite Foxtrot) in addition to rare prints by some of the artists responsible for some of the covers that have graced Yes albums years ago.

In celebration of his induction into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, folk legend Donovan will be playing shows in three major US cities this fall before his TBA world tour in 2013. Those cities include, Washington DC, New York City, and Los Angeles. NYC gets its show on October 19 at The Concert Hall (part of NYSEC and located on 2 West 64 Street). Tickets for that show are on sale now.

Other upcoming shows at The Concert Hall include progressive/folk/classical band Renaissance on October 20, Rickie Lee Jones on November 1, Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore's folk rock group Blackmore's NIght on November 2, Graham Parker & The Rumour on December 1, and more.
