Django Django have finally found a U.S. label to release their terrific debut album. Domino imprint Ribbon Music (home to John Maus and Lower Dens) will have it in the shops on September 25 with an early digital release via iTunes on August 14. The band also just released a video for the album's lead track, "Hail Bop," and you can watch that below.
Around the time of the LP's release, the band will head across the Atlantic for a North American tour, including a NYC stop at Bowery Ballroom on Oct 2. UPDATE: Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 25 at noon.
The band blew the lid off Glasslands back in March, go see them on this tour if you can. All Django Django North American tour dates are listed below.
John Maus revealed an unreleased song via the Ribbon Music Soundcloud this week. "No Title (Molly)" is "available on a limited edition transparent orange Flexi Disc as part of Smugglers Way, Ribbon Music and Domino's first ever FlexiDisc Zine available exclusively on Record Store Day, April 21st." Speaking of Ribbon Music, advanced tickets are now on sale for the Black Dice record release party happening at Living Bread in Brooklyn on 4/7, three days before their new LP Mr. Impossible is released by Ribbon Music.

Brooklyn's Black Dice are welcoming their new LP Mr. Impossible via Ribbon Music on April 10th. Listen to new song "Pinball Wizard" below.
The band will celebrate with an album release party in Brooklyn at Living Bread on April 7th (2 Knickerbocker Ave) with Oneohtrix Point Never. More details below. In May, Black Dice will hit the road for a set of North American dates that include a "welcome home" show at Secret Project Robot on May 26th. All tour dates are listed below.

John Maus is preparing his new LP We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves (awesome title!) for Ribbon Music on June 28th. Check out a pair of songs ("Quantum Leap" and "Believer") and a video for "Believer" above/below. Fans of Joy Division, Cold Cave, and cold & reverb-y darkwave take note.
In celebration, Maus will hit the road for some dates in May before a larger tour with Puro Instinct in June that will send him from coast to coast. The first set of dates include a Brooklyn show at Glasslands on May 9th with Gary War, Holy Shit!, DJ International Tapes, and DJ WEIRD MAGIC. Tickets are on sale, but reportedly going fast.
Puro Instinct plays an RSVP-free show in Brooklyn on Thursday (4/28) with Cults & Oberhofer. Oberhofer also just added another Brooklyn show happening at Coco 66 on May 14th with Widowspeak and Vacation. Tickets are on sale.
