Stevie Nicks is currently on tour with Rod Stewart who you probably didn't want to see at Madison Square Garden on 3/26 and 4/6, even if you were tempted by Stevie's irresistible appearance on the bill. Well, good news: The Fleetwood Mac vocalist will celebrate the release of her new solo LP, In Your Dreams, with a rare club appearance at Webster Hall on May 4th, the day after the record hits store shelves, and two days before she plays the Borgata in Atlantic City.
Head to the Stevie Nicks webstore to pre-order the new LP. While you're there you can trade your email address for a "unique Ticketmaster pre-sale code" for Webster Hall tickets. Pre-sale begins Wednesday at 10am. Tickets go on general sale on Saturday, 4/16, at noon. There's a "radio presale" happening Friday too.

To quote James Murphy:
"we tried getting another day at msg. i'd mentioned this before and most everyone kind of rolled their eyes at me. "2 madison square garden shows, dude? really?" i thought, well, just in case, you know? maybe some people would fly from other places or something. but msg, being one of the most popular venues on the planet, was unsurprisingly booked. (for the record: just because it doesn't look booked on the internet, doesn't mean it's available. just saying.)"According to the Internet (see Internet screen shot above), MSG looks booked on every day of the LCD T5 shows, and it looks booked the day after. The only day it 'doesn't look booked' is April 1 (the Theater doesn't count). Big announcement coming soon? (yes).
UPDATE: according to the comments, this post is making some people think I'm hating or calling James Murphy a liar. Actually, it's just the opposite.

Friends and associates,List of gear and Gabriel Roth's letter continued below...As you may have heard through the grapevine by now, Daptone was broken into last night. Unfortunately, there was a lot of equipment (mics, pre-amps, monitors, turntables, guitars, amps, computers, etc.) stolen and damaged. It is going to take us a while to go through everything and take full stock of what was stolen, and we are not supposed to touch anything until the cops come back to collect fingerprints so we can only guess what's missing from some mic drawers and cabinets.
And, no, we did not have insurance. We had been shopping around with different companies earlier this month but had not signed a check, so nothing was insured. We are working on replacing the gate in front, installing an alarm system, and getting insurance, but it is President's day so it's not going as quickly as we would have liked.
Nydia's computer was stolen (which wasn't backed up) and the modems/ phone system was ripped out, so we'll be relatively out of commission for a few days.I would like to ask for everyone's help first in keeping an eye out for all of our stuff showing up on ebay/craigslist/local music shops, and secondly (and more realistically) keeping an eye out for good deals on headphones, mics, pre-amps, etc. I could really use a heads up on any kind of studio package for sale or studio equipment to be possibly bought or borrowed as soon as possible. We have a session scheduled for Friday to lay down some music for (I know this sounds
surreal) Rod Stewart, and I'm going to have to get the studio running by then. I know I'm going to need to find headphones, cables, mics, and pre-amps by then. I'm not sure what else yet.
