DOWNLOAD: Xeno & Oaklander - Autumn's Edge (MP3)

Xeno & Oaklander are New York's premier minimal wave, and have been doing it 1981 style -- using patch bays and vintage equipment exclusively, no laptops -- for over five years. Despite the duo's neo-luddite approach to making electronic music, Sean McBride and Liz Wendelbo have certainly gotten better at what they're doing, both mastery of their gear and in songwriting.

Sets & Lights, which was released this week on Wierd Records, is the band's third album and easily their best. Arpeggiated synths and sequencers bubble along and Wendelbo and McBride trade vocals... it's like the soundtrack to some gleaming baroque futureworld. You can download "Autumn's Edge" at the top of this post, and be sure to check out the genuinely spooky video to single "The Staircase" further down.

Xeno & Oaklander have a few shows coming up. Tonight (10.12), they celebrate the release of Sets & Lights tonight (10.12) at the weekly Wierd Party at Home Sweet Home. Friday night (10.14) they'll play the afterparty of the first night of the Neon Marshmallow Festival which is happening all weekend at Public Assembly.

Then next Saturday (10/22), Xeno & Oaklander play Altered Zones at the New Museum, which seems to be this year's attempt by Pitchfork at CMJ counterprograming. (Remember #Offline?) In addition to X&O, performers include AraabMuzik, Grimes, Teengirl Fantasy, Trash Talk, Eric Copeland, Prince Rama, Light Asylum, FORMA, and Dive. The show is 21+ and $25 for non-museum members and a portion of the proceeds goes to benefit the 2012 New Museum Triennial, an international exhibition of emerging artists. Archy Marshall, who previously operated under the Zoo Kid moniker, now records as King Krule. He'll release a self titled EP under the name on November 8 via True Panther. That's the album art above. You can check out the EP's last track, "The Noose of Jah City," along with the tracklist below.

King Krule has a few international dates coming up including some CMJ shows, which will also act as his US debut. He's scheduled to play the True Panther showcase at Glasslands on October 19 with Tanlines, Trash Talk, Lemonade, Teengirl Fantasy, and Little Red. He'll also play a Fader Fort CMJ Party on October 21 and a secret True Panther warehouse party on October 22. Stay tuned for more details on those.

Trash Talk also have other CMJ shows including a late one at Cake Shop on Thursday, October 20:

Prince Sun Arawama @ Music Hall of Williamsburg

Though they didn't get to play PS1 because of Irene, Sun Araw managed to sneak in a pre-hurricane show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Friday night with Prince Rama (who have more shows coming up soon), Julianna Barwick, Pterodactyl, and Teengirl Fantasy (DJ set). The night ended with the Sun Araw/Prince Rama collaborative jam they call Prince Sunarawma. Multiple reports say Sun Araw was the highlight of the night. DOWNLOAD: Lemonade - The Place Where You Belong (MP3)

Teengirl Fantasy, whose July Brooklyn show was moved from the closed Coco66 to 285 Kent, lost two NYC shows to Irene: Warm Up @ PS1 today and a Sunday night appearance at The Museum of Art & Design (both cancelled). Their friends Lemonade were supposed to play the cancelled Out In the Streets Fest Sunday. All is not lost though, as all signs point to Zebulon still being open tonight (8/27) with Teengirl Fantasy, Callan Klein (Lemonade), and Pasternak (Lemonade) all on the bill.

After holding out, MoMA now reports that "sadly, we have to cancel #WarmUp tomorrow because of the hurricane & the subsequent mta closures. Be safe & see you next Saturday, 9/3!", BUT "we are trying to reschedule some of this weekend's performers for an additional #WarmUp on September 10th. We'll keep you posted ;-)" Scheduled performers were Tanlines, Nguzunguzu, Teengirl Fantasy, Sun Araw, and Physical Therapy.

Coco66 in October 2010 (more by Andrew St. Clair)

As mentioned, Coco66 was shut down on July 9 so SBTRKT couldn't DJ after his PS1 show. We also recently mentioned that the July 23rd Pictureplane, Teengirl Fantasy, Gatekeeper show originally scheduled at Coco66 has been moved to 285 Kent. That's because Coco66 never reopened after the SBTRKT incident...

It seems that Greenpoint music venue and bar Coco66 was raided by both the NYPD and SLA for operating without a liquor license last weekend. According to reports at Paper and New York Shitty, the authorities showed up at some point Saturday night and arrested the venue's owner David Kelleran and in a scene out of prohibition, all of the booze was destroyed by the SLA when they made the bartenders pour out every last drop of about $20,000 worth of alcohol. What a waste! The bar's problems began in October, 2010 when the NYPD conducted an initial raid and lost its liquor license. Kelleran had been buying booze at retail shops for the bar's events and apparently wants to try to reopen the bar without a liquor license. [Eater]

No events are currently scheduled at Coco66.

EMA at P4K Fest (more by Dominick Mastrangelo)

Darkstar played their first US show at Pitchfork Festival this past weekend. As mentioned, they'll be sticking around for a bit and will play in NYC tonight (7/18) at Le Poisson Rouge. Phaseone opens the show and tickets are still available. We're also giving away two tickets at our facebook.

TIme Out Chicago caught Darkstar's set at P4K:

On "Gold," the trio's cover of Human League, a distant house thump permeates, rolling alongside hi-hats and anchored by slow piano. This is the energy the crowd needs. People start wading in closer, whistling and fully embracing the music.

Clicks continue to buzz in rapid succession, and the distorted and crunchy synth found in so much of Hyperdub's output sits prominently in the mix. The lead singer looks like Brendan Fraser in Airheads, but this shouldn't make you take Darkstar any less seriously. Their February signing to Warp is big news for these Brits, a trio we'll hear more of in the future.

Speaking of bands who played Pitchfork Festival with upcoming NYC shows, Gatekeeper play on Saturday (7/23) at 285 Kent as part of their tour with Pictureplane and Teengirl Fantasy. The NYC show was originally scheduled for Coco66 but has been moved to 285 Kent. Tickets are still available.

P4k2011's first sounds were very yin and yang. As Gatekeeper's light, blissful tunes fluttered over the trees, EMA (Erika M. Anderson) squinted into the hazy afternoon sun and began grinding out some dark, menacing music. [Chicago Sun Times]

EMA has two shows on Wednesday (7/20). She'll play an early show at Mercury Lounge with Helado Negro (tickets) and a late show at Glasslands with Talk Normal and Abblehearts (tickets). All tour dates are listed below.

Alamaba rap duo G-Side also played Pitchfork and will play NYC on Saturday (7/23) at Tammany Hall.

Gang Gang Dance conclude their tour with a Rocks Off Concert Cruise Thursday (7/21). Nguzunguzu and Total Freedom aren't on the bill like they were for the much of the tour (Pitchfork after party included) but Nguzunguzu have their own shows this week. Here's some words about GGD's Pitchfork set:

A small man waving a stick of burning sage preceded Gang Gang Dance to the Green stage--a shaman of sorts, he stayed on stage for the entire hour, waving his sage stick or a towel and nodding along to the hyperbolic pastiche of dancehall, new age, tropicalia, electronica and Middle Eastern. It's world music gumbo, but highly danceable and about as "now" as you can get.

Lead Lizzie Bougatsos jumped off the stage to greet fans while the band continued banging out its dizzy-making tribal beats. It wasn't long before Bougatos was crowd surfing as fans reverentially passed her around the human sea. "I think when you carried me I became Jesus Christ," she said, returning to the mic. "I'm showered in your love, I'm dripping it. Drippy drippy all the way down!...If you can't act crazy on stage, there's no reason to live." Gang Gang Dance's new album Eye Contact is one of my favorites of the year so far, and live it sounds very different--much less haunted and weird, but damn good all the same. [Riverfront Times]

Gang Gang Dance also DJ on Saturday, 7/23 at Warm Up at PS1 with Syd tha Kyd of Odd Future, who also played Pitchfork Fest.

WU LYUF didn't play the fest, though Pitchfork probably wish they did. They share a bill with DJ Dapwell of Das Racist, who did play Pitchfork, on Saturday (7/23) at Knitting Factory. WU LYF also play the night before (7/22) at Mercury Lounge. Bass Drum of Death are on both bills.

James Blake played to a sold out crowd at Webster Hall last night (7/13). His set included all of the James Blake standouts as usual, but also some interesting additions. He played a live version of "CMYK" which he only recently began doing (video below). He ended his set with a cover of Digital Mystikz' "Anti-War Dub" and then returned for an encore to play "The Wilhelm Scream" and a new track, "Tell Me, Are You With Me" (video below).

Catch James at Webster Hall again on October 5 as part of his fall tour. Teengirl Fantasy opened the show, though we missed them. They have other upcoming shows too.

Prince Sunarawma at Brave New Books at SXSW (by Erez Avissar)

The bill is looking pretty stacked on August 26 at Music Hall of Williamsburg with Sun Araw, Prince Rama, Julianna Barwick, Pterodactyl, and Teengirl Fantasy (DJ set). Check ticketmaster for tickets, probably next week when the show gets officially announced.

The Brooklyn show will be the first NYC performance of Sun Araw and Prince Rama's aptly titled joint project Prince Sunarawma. They debuted the project during SXSW at Brave New Books on March 19 (pictured above). The show will also be the album release show for Sun Araw's upcoming LP Ancient Romans, due out three days earlier on August 23 via Sun Ark / Drag City. Catch Sun Araw and Tanlines again the next night (8/27) at PS1's Warm Up.

Prince Rama has other upcoming shows happening sooner too, like... this Saturday (7/9) on the Market Hotel Roof in Brooklyn where Prince Rama will celebrate the release of the first single off their new LP Trust Now, which will be released on October 4 via Paw Tracks. According to the facebook event, "At sunset, 30 mini-cds containing the new single will be tied to balloons and released off the roof into the great beyond." And by "into the great beyond" they of course mean into someone's backyard or stuck on an electrical pole or in a tree or in a bird's nest or down a dolphin's throat, or stuff like that. Prince Rama and special guests will also DJ and Total Slacker will VJ. No word on who will BJ, or whether there will be JJ. "Cosmic Yoga led by Austin Samsel at 7:00PM, get in the zone." FREE.

Prince Rama also DJs on July 21 at Glasslands with Julian Lynch and Dent May. Tickets are on sale now.

You have a few opportunities to catch Teengirl Fantasy before the show as well. They open the sold out James Blake show at Webster Hall on July 13. They'll also head out on tour with PIctureplane later this month, which hits NYC on July 22 at a TBD location and July 23 at Coco 66 with Gatekeeper. Tickets for the Coco66 show are still available.

As mentioned in This Week in Indie, Pterodactyl also plays Saturday (7/9) at Death By Audio. The show is Grooms' record release party for their new LP Prom which drops next week via Kanine. The Immaculates are also on the bill. Pterodactyl will release the LP Spills Out this November on Brah/Jagjaguwar.

Speaking of Teengirl Fantasy, they're set to head out on tour with Pictureplane in late July. The tour kicks off in Boston on July 20 and hits NYC on July 22 at a TBD location and July 23 at Coco66. Gatekeeper, who also play 285 Kent with Teengirl Fantasy this Saturday night (June 18), open the tour. Tickets for the Coco66 show are on sale now.

Pictureplane will release Thee Physical on July 19 via Lovepump United. The album was produced and recorded by Egedy and mixed/co-produced by Jupiter Keyes of HEALTH. Grab the tracks "Post Physical" and "Real Is a Feeling" above. Those tracks are two of the more mildly-named tracks on the new album. Check out song titles like "Techno Fetish" and "Trancegender" on the full tracklist below.

Both Pictureplane and Teengirl Fantasy also play PS1 Warm Up events this summer in Long Island City, but on different days. As just mentioned, Teengirl Fantasy play on August 27. Pictureplane plays one week prior on August 20 with Juan Maclean (DFA), Blood Orange (Dev from Lightspeed Champion), Solange (Knowles), Grimes, and Ford & Lopatin (formerly Games).

Juan Maclean has a few other DJ sets coming up this summer as well. Tonight (6/17), as mentioned, he'll transform Williamsburg's Metro Community Laundromat into the Dirty Disco Laundrette with fellow DFA DJ Justin Miller. The flier for the show is below. Tickets are still available (which is not surprising if you look at the price). Juan Maclean also DJs at Cielo Club on June 28 with Eli Escobar and Runaway. Tickets are available.

Blood Orange and Grimes open the Washed Out show at Bowery Ballroom on July 11. Blood Orange also open the previously announced The Ghost of a Sabre Tooth Tiger (Sean Lennon) free show on June 24 at South Street Seaport.

S.C.U.M.

In other Grimes news, she remixed the single "Summon The Sound" by British psychedelic punks S.C.U.M.. "Summon The Sound" is off their upcoming debut Amber Hands which comes out late summer/early fall on Mute Records. The band is named for the 1968 feminist tract S.C.U.M. (Society for Cutting Up Men) Manifesto by Valerie Solanas. S.C.U.M. just finished up a tour with The Kills in the UK. Nguzunguzu

"Nguzunguzu first made its mark in mid-'00s Los Angeles as co-hosts of the legendary Wildness parties near MacArthur Park. Around that time the duo started making tracks and mixes and dropping them online -- frantic, tribal sounds that drew on the convergence of Brazilian baile rhythms, Chicago house and London dance music to create primal, infectious grooves. Gradually over the last three years the production team has moved up the ladder, remixing Ciara, Lazer Sword and Ratatat, among others, releasing a few solid EPs, touring as M.I.A.'s DJ and producing much of her most recent mixtape, "Vicki Leekx."" LA production duo Nguzunguzu (Asma Maroof and Daniel Pineda) released The Perfect Lullaby mixtape for DIS magazine earlier this year with a variety of tracks including Nicki Minaj, The-Dream, and Kingdom (aka Ezra Rubin). Stream and download the mix at DIS Magazine's website. They'll follow that mixtape with the Timesup EP on July 5 via Kingdom's Fade to Mind label. The EP is the first release for the new label. Check out the first track "Timesup" below via Paranoid Youth.

Nguzunguzu are playing NYC's New Museum on June 23 with Kingdom and Total Freedom (Ashland Mines). The "five hour day-into-night performance" is a collaboration with LA performer and filmmaker Wu Tsang who is in residency at the museum. Wu Tsang's residency is an attempt to showcase different aspects of his new film and performance piece Full Body Quotation. His first film, about the "legendary" parties referenced above, Wildness (currently in post-production), was made in collaboration with Total Freedom and Daniel Pineda of Nguzunguzu. Check out a teaser for the movie below.

The New Museum event is free before 7 PM and $12 after. Nguzunguzu, Kingdom, and Total Freedom also play the official after party hosted by DIS Magazine at Subtonic at 11 PM with MikeQ, Venus X, and $hayne.

Nguzunguzu and Total Freedom both head out on a tour with Gang Gang Dance in July. The tour ends one day before Gang Gang Dance play a Rocks Off Concert Cruise on July 21. The Rocks off show has no openers. Tickets are still on sale for the NYC show which is two days before GGD DJ a PS1 Warm Up event.

Nguzunguzu play a PS1 Warm Up event on August 27 with Sun Araw, who they played with at Echoplex in LA last night (6/16). Tanlines, Teengirl Fantasy, and Physical Therapy are also on the PS1 bill.

Teengirl Fantasy (live) and Physical Therapy (DJ) meanwhile play a Northside Merok Records showcase on June 18 at 285 Kent with Gatekeeper, Blondes and dj Ghe20 Gothik. Teengirl Fantasy also play Sled Island in Canada at the end of the month. They tour with Pictureplane in July.

Tanlines recently made a video for the super catchy "Real Life" off their 2010 Settings EP. According to a post on their facebook page on February 17, Tanlines are "very excited that they're almost done with their record." The record will be their first full length and will presumably be released sometime this year on True Panther.

The full schedule for MoMa's 20l1 'Warm Up' season at PS1 has since been announced. The dance parties happen at the Long Island City location every Saturday from July 2 through September 3 from 2 PM to 9 PM. Admission is $15 and includes access to all exhibitions and 'Warm Up.' As discussed, Four Tet and Matthewdavid play 'Warm Up' on July 9. STBRKT (who recently collaborated with Little Dragon) along with FaltyDL and others are also on that bill.

Noah: "I was living in Brooklyn, right on the edge of Brooklyn Heights, right near Red Hook over there. I was walking to work actually and walking towards the subway and I didn't know anything about it. The first plane had crashed when I was walking and everybody was walking the other way from the subway towards somewhere else. It just felt weird and smelled weird and I guess a women saw me going towards the subway stop and she was like, 'The subway isn't running right now.' And and I was like "What happened?" She just pointed up in the sky and I could just see a really big pillar of smoke and you could see the building on fire."

With the NYC skyline aglow from the Sept 11th memorial, Panda Bear headlined the Beach stage at the serene Governor's Island with his AnCo cohort Avey Tare on the one's and two's, and opening sets from Teengirl Fantasy and Portugal's Gala Drop.

...The 100-layer-electro-pastoral-pop burrito thing [aka Panda' Bear's sound] has its charms: His new "Tomboy" shows up early, a few angry-sounding power chords giving it form and drive; his songs are better the more they sound like temper tantrums, particularly "Song for Ariel," wherein he bellows "I want what I want what I want what I want what I want" until you're ready to give it him already.

It all just starts to blur together garishly after a half-hour or so, though there's rarely not a sweet, simple tune buried under there, and he's much better at keeping it at least faintly audible: Even at his worst it only sounds like, say, two Passion Pit songs and a Bruce Hornsby song playing on top of each other. And his voice, as always, will rescue both him and you, huge and brassy, traces of both Thom Yorke and Rufus Wainwright, selling his more grandiose drama and doing major damage the softer and sweeter and simpler his backdrop gets: "Ponytail," the slight, painfully delicate closer to his rapturously praised Person Pitch, is the exception that makes the rule bearable. As for the rest, just do what you do when you're drunk: Find something in the room and stare at it until the room stops spinning. -[Village Voice]

The easiest thing to stare at Saturday night was the visuals on the screen, which when not covered by the smoke from the smoke machines, made for excellent eye candy though I couldn't help but look towards the skyline at times as well. The Panda Bear show was one of two Noah Lennox played over the weekend. He played Baltimore the next day (9/12). Panda Bear will also appear at Moogfest on October 20th, and that's it for now. Hopefully he'll spend that time working on Tomboy, which currently has no official release date (new single out in October).

And now comes, "You Can Count On Me", the second in the series of 7" singles from Panda Bear previewing his forthcoming album Tomboy, the much-anticipated follow-up to Person Pitch.

A gentle duet between Panda Bear and himself, "You Can Count On Me" glimmers with third world melodic overtones, an ethereal uplifting number that is over before you become too familiar. "Alsatian Darn" on the other hand is a much different creature...a slightly foreboding track with an off-beat melancholy chord progression that occasionally lets the light break through with a jaunty two-step, if ever so briefly.

A limited edition of "You Can Count On Me" will be available in stores beginning October 19th. Only 500 copies are available for pre-order from the Domino Mart.

The news of Panda Bear's new single (that's the cover art above) coincides with a week's worth of live shows kicking off Saturday, 9/4, at FYF Fest in LA. Though originally they were saying Tomboy would be out in September and then October, there doesn't seem to be an actual release date scheduled at the moment. Just the single for now. .

Not counting Moogfest on 10/20, Panda Bear's last tour date is 9/12 in Baltimore which is one day after the 9/11 show at Governors Island in NYC. And since we last spoke, there have been a lot of updates related to that NYC show. Not only will there be opening sets by Teengirl Fantasy and Gala Drop, Panda's Animal Collective bandmate Avey Tare will be DJing between sets. Tickets are still on sale, AND we have a pair you can win. Details at the end of this post.

And speaking of 9/11 NYC shows by Domino-signed bands that I have a pair of tickets to giveaway for, Dirty Projectors and Owen Pallett play Terminal 5 on that Saturday. Details on winning those tickets (you can buy those too) below.

Spain's Delorean played a packed, celebratory free set to a crowd of New Yorkers at the Stuy Town Oval on Wednesday (7/7), appropriately, the same day Spain advanced to the World Cup Finals. A vuvuzela sat on stage (and mercifully remained silent) (unlike at the recent Peelander-Z show). Pictures from that show are in this post.

Delorean continues their NYC stay with a DJ set tonight (7/8) at Littlefield with resident DJs Raspberry Jones and Treeboy.

After that, Delorean is playing a sold-out Bowery Ballroom show on Saturday, July 10th. And then they'll be back for the end-of-the-season Pool Party on August 29th (two headliners TBA).

Previously, Delorean kicked off PS1's Warm up series with Janka Nabay, Glasser and others. And Janka played with another Spaniard, El Guincho, at (Le) Poisson Rouge last night (7/7) - which was El Guincho's second show of the night (earlier he played the SummerStage).

Janka continues his own week of busy shows with a rooftop gig in Bushwick (details below) on Friday and a World Cup Finals party at Zebulon on Sunday with Baye Kouyate. Then he's back at Zebulon with Cafe Antarsia Ensemble on July 31st. If you've noticed, Janka has a new band, the Bubu Gang, which features members of Skeletons and Zs.

Another related Zebulon night, its monthly Cool Places Sound System dance party, put together by Tony from Zs/Bubu Gang and Dean from True Panther Sounds (Janka's label), is happening next on July 17th.

Pitchfork: How long have the two of you been recording as Memoryhouse?

Evan Abeele: About a year. Actually, it started in a different way. We were attempting to kind of do something more with ambient structure and textures, not really with pop music. The idea was to create this audio-visual project with ambient music and Denise's photography. And so it evolved out of that into this project, in which we were beginning to record pop songs. It's been a year since we started doing that and kind of just refining our aesthetic, learning to write pop music as we went along.

Memoryhouse, from Ontario, Canada, released a free EP, The Years (.RAR), earlier this year. A 7" single for their song "Lately (Deuxieme)" came out on the Inflated label in June and both sides of that (title track and remix) are posted above. The video for the Jon Brion-sampling a-side is below too. Another version of that single "Lately (Troisième)," a "stripped-down arrangement that they'd been rehearsing for a live acoustic performance (via GvB)," is also above. They have an LP, Looms of Youth, due later this year.

Memoryhouse are touring Europe this summer, and afterwards will be in NYC (preumably as part of a larger tour) to play a Wednesday, August 11th show at Mercury Lounge (the rest of the bill is still TBA). Tickets are on sale now.

Neon Indian played two shows in NYC last week. Thursday night (2/4) they performed at NYU with Atlas Sound and Sisters (which was one day after Atlas Sound played Bell House with Memory Tapes).

The synths, a defining strong point of Neon Indian, shimmered across the top of the rest of the band's instrumentation, pausing occasionally to let stellar guitar work from Ronald Gierhart take the reins. The songs, drawn from the band's debut Psychic Chasms, had a sharper edge to them, dropping fuzz in favor of crisp keyboard riffs and singing guitars. Between songs, Palomo composed glitch interludes, playing with effect knobs across both stereo channels to force lingering melodies to descend into a fog before the drums and guitars launched into a new cut. It was an interesting choice, and one that gave the set a roller coaster feel: a danceable song followed by a sonically interesting but rhythmically lacking break; lather, rinse, repeat. At the Friday night show at Market Hotel, Neon Indian came on late and to a full house. Palomo and band have succeeded in transferring the sounds of his bedroom recording to a live setting (even if the PA doesn't always cooperate, like at Market Hotel), but their stage presence lags behind the musicianship. The crunchy, distorted songs are spot on, but the band's four members can sometimes come off as reserved or inhibited. The space didn't help in that respect: Ronald Gierhart, the band's shredder, was stuck behind a keyboard on the tiny stage and Alan kept himself busy with his mixer and table of toys. They played without any lights, same as the preceding Teengirl Fantasy, who started slow and sludgy and eventually warmed into bouncy, unpredictable sampler-fed house. I imagine Teengirl fit best with experimental show opener Blissed Out (who I missed, and who play Silent Barn February 10th. more shows listed below).

The minimal, poppy rock of Beach Fossils was the only music to provoke the crowd into a rage (which was good from an energy standpoint, but not so re:comfort in the packed room). A few people in the audience talked fondly about the St. James Church show, which also featured Beach Fossils and was organized by the same promoters. There was more than enough time to chat and make friends - the lull between sets dragged on and on, and Adventure, a one-man outfit who smoked cigarettes and talked to friends while his synth and sampler for the most part played themselves, didn't inspire much engagement.

Neon Indian recently stopped by Laundromatinee, and you can see their performance of "Mind, Drips" for the first time below (and download the audio of the same song above). A remix of "Deadbeat Summer" by Afghan Raiders is posted above, and you can also get a remix of their "Should Have Taken Acid with You" done up by Future Rock. (Future Rock play a Saturday, February 27th show at Bowery Ballroom supported by DJ sets from Junior Boys and Figo. Tickets are on sale.)

Beach Fossils kick off their tour with the Beets and Christmas Island with a show at Cake Shop on February 9th. That's not the trip's only NYC stop; all tour dates are below. Beach Fossils will also be at SXSW and MtyMx (as will Neon Indian) and play a Kidrockers show, all in March, which is when the band's debut on Woodsist/Captured Tracks should be arriving.
