The spring edition of the biannual music festival Boston Calling happens this year from May 22-24. They've once again put together a great lineup (curated by The National's Aaron Dessner, produced by Crash Line Productions), this time including Beck, Pixies, My Morning Jacket, Tenacious D, Tame Impala, St. Vincent, TV on the Radio, Jason Isbell, Gerard Way, Run the Jewels, Sharon Van Etten, Krill and more. Early bird tickets go on sale at noon today (1/14), using the password "BOSTON."

Marilyn Manson is playing Terminal 5 on January 26. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale at noon today, Ticketmaster presale at noon on Thursday (11/20), and general on-sale at noon on Friday (11/21).
You can also catch The Lone Bellow with Odessa at Bowery Ballroom on March 25 and MHOW on March 26. Tickets for those shows go on AmEx presale at noon today and the general on-sale begins at noon on Friday (11/21).

As discussed, Conor Oberst & friends are playing this year's WFUV Holiday Cheer Benefit at NYC's Beacon Theatre on December 8. When we last spoke, the rest of the lineup was still TBA, but it's since been announced and it's pretty huge. Joining the Bright Eyes frontman will be former 10,000 Maniacs singer Natalie Merchant, The Felice Brothers, Laura Marling, The Lone Bellow and Jonathan Wilson. Tickets for this amazing night of folk are still available.
After that, Conor and The Felice Brothers will team up again for an Australian tour. All of those dates are listed, with some videos, below...
Since we last posted the lineup, The Shaky Knees fest in Atlanta has grown to add The Replacements and more. Tickets also went on sale and are still available. Check out the lineup, headlined by The National, Modest Mouse and Alabama Shakes, in the poster above and the full schedule at the fest's site.

Bonnaroo 2013 (more by Katherine Hansen)
As mentioned, Bonnaroo 2014 happens June 12 - 15 in Manchester, TN. The fest has already been dropping hints as to who's going to play this year (Kanye and Elton John seem likely as headliners) but will finally spill the beans tonight via a web show called "Blam!" which airs at 9 PM EST on Bonnaroo.com (or an Xbox app). (Maybe you watched last year's with Weird Al Yankovich and Portugal the Man.) This year's announcement special is hosted by SNL's Taran Killam and Broad City's Hannibal Buress, with a "superjam" between The Flaming Lips and Ben Folds.
There's also a pre-Blam! web event from 7 - 9 PM EST featuring live cover song performances from Tenacious D, Kings Of Leon, Phish, My Morning Jacket, and others.

Governors Ball and Hangout Fest lineups were just announced today (and Firefly yesterday and Coachella not long before that), and now comes the lineup announcement for another big fest, Atlanta's Shaky Knees Festival. The fest goes down from May 9-11 at Atlantic Station with The National, Modest Mouse, Spoon, Local Natives, The Gaslight Anthem, Violent Femmes, Conor Oberst, Iron and Wine, Jenny Lewis, Dawes, Foals, Deer Tick, The Hold Steady, Tokyo Police Club, Graveyard, Mutual Benefit and many more. There's also one headliner still TBA. Outkast?

Lollapalooza and Osheaga are behind us, but the summer festivals keep rolling on with San Francisco's Outside Lands this weekend (8/9-8/11). The festival is sold out, but if you've already got tickets and are going, you might like to know how to get there, and once you're there, the festival map will help you find your way around inside.
Meanwhile, if you're not going to Outside Lands, but still want to watch the fun go down, you can stream it live on Purevolume. Bumbershoot is returning to Seattle this year from August 31 to September 2 at Seattle Center. This year's lineup was just announced, and it includes Death Cab for Cutie performing Transatlanticism (in case The Postal Service reuniting wasn't enough Ben Gibbard nostalgia for you), Kendrick Lamar, MGMT, The Breeders, The Zombies, Alt-J, Deerhunter, Baroness, Crystal Castles, Gary Numan, Joey Bada$$, Eric Burdon, Bob Mould, David Bazan, Charli XCX, Redd Kross, The Men and more.

The 2013 edition of San Francisco's Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival with happen at Golden Gate Park on August 9 - 11. This year's line-up includes Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, D'Angelo, Willie Nelson, Grizzly Bear, Band of Horses, Hall & Oates, Foals, A-Track, Jurassic 5, Kurt Vile and many more. Tickets go on sale Thursday (4/18) at noon PDT.
This is the sixth edition of Outside Lands, and the full announced line-up is below.
The 2013 Clearwater Festival will take place on June 15 and 16 at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, Westchester County, NY. This year's line-up includes Sharon Jones And The Dap-Kings, Son Volt, Mavis Staples, Antibalas, Nicole Atkins, Patterson Hood and more. Full line-up is below. Tickets for Clearwater are on sale now.
The Postelles, The Arkells and Ambassadors are playing Santos Party House on March 5. Tickets for that show are on sale now.

As mentioned previously, Bob Mould will be back in NYC next month for two shows at Bowery Ballroom on February 26 - 27 and tickets are still available. What we didn't know at the time was who was opening the shows, which we now do. Bear in Heaven will open the 2/26 show and Minneapolis trio Now Now will open the 2/27 show. Tickets to both Bowery shows are still available.
Now Now, meanwhile, are also on the road and will hit NYC before the Bob Mould show as part of the Heavy & Light tour that hits Irving Plaza on February 13 and also features Jon Foreman (of Switchfoot), Anthony Raneri, The Lone Bellow and Will Anderson. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
