And like he does in Coney Island, Marty Markowitz also brings free concerts to Brooklyn's Wingate Field each summer. The 2011 Martin Luther King Jr. Concert Series happens every Monday through August 22. The first one, on July 11th, will feature Maze with Frankie Beverly. The full schedules for this year's Asser Levy/Seaside concerts and MLK Wingate Field shows are posted below. The Seaside series in Coney Island will go on despite the debate over the bandshell's renovations. There's still one TBA on the Seaside schedule (which we have some hints about).
