"Old Baby" is the latest record from Company, a songwriting collective and rock band rooted in folk, punk, country, and psychedelic traditions. Brought together by a shared commitment to writing songs that don't "pussyfoot around", to borrow Dylan's phrase, Adam Davison, David Janik, Stephanie Rabins, and Christopher Teret formed Company in 2001.
Oneida will help Company celebrate the release of the new album tonight (Feb 29) at Knitting Facory in NYC, and again tomorrow night in Massacusetts.

OneidaOneida isn't releasing a new CD yet, but they - - along with Best Fwends, Matt & Kim, High Places, Parts & Labor, Japanther, These are Powers, and many others - do appear on a new Cardboard Records compilation...

On March 4th Cardboard Records will release "Love and Circuits: A Cardboard Records Compilation from Aa to Zs". This is a 2CD, 57-band scene report culling a wide variety of punk, noise, experimental, folk, and electronic music. For your convenience, the tracks are alphabetized by band name. 77.2% of these songs are exclusive to the comp. Of special note is the contribution from Trey Told 'Em (Girl Talk and Hearts of Darknesses' new remix project) -- a mashup track of all the other 56 submissions!
Download the mashup above! Check out the tracklist, and more tour dates, below....
