Patrick Carney

You may remember that Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney was feuding with Justin Bieber after Patrick made a comment about him after the Grammys and the Biebs responded with a hate-tweet. Well Justin wasn't alone, because his faithful Beliebers have come to his support by also tweeting at Patrick Carney! Rolling Stone (via Daily Swarm) has done us the favor of posting "The 12 Funniest Tweets," all of which are Patrick Carney himself responding to the devastated fans. The one above is my personal favorite and some others are embedded below...

Bleeding Rainbow at Fred Perry Artist Lounge, CMJ 2012 (more by Diana Wong)
tickets

Bleeding Rainbow's new album, Yeah Right, is out next week. If you liked their single "Wasting Time" you'll probably really dig the new album which is full of hooky, noise-and-harmony filled guitar pop. Pitchfork is streaming the album in full despite giving the album a middling review. (The band and P4k writer Steve Hyden got in a bit of a Twitter spat over it.) Personally, I like it a lot.

The band are going on a short run of dates next month in support of the new album, including two shows in NYC: February 11 at Cake Shop (openers TBA) and February 12 at Glasslands with Habibi, Census and Spires. No advance tickets for Cake Shop but Glasslands tickets are on sale now.

All Bleeding Rainbow tour dates below...

On the Edge

Things move quick on the internet, including fights. It was just this morning that Azealia Banks tweeted, "Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY.... DON'T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER." Angel Haze apparently took this to be a direct shot at her and her track "New York" and a Twitter fight ensued. (Some of the exchange was deleted, but Complex has the whole thing here.) Angel Haze posted a new track at 4PM on her SoundCloud called "On the Edge," a dis track absolutely pointed at Azelea, following up by saying she banged it out in, "20 minutes. It took me nothing but a hairflip...a real one." Zing! You can stream it below. A comeback track by Banks seems likely, no?

Meanwhile, Azealia Banks recently released a new track, "BBD," from her oft-delayed debut album Broke with Expensive Taste (currently due out February 12), and you can stream that below too.
