The 'Under the Influence of Music' hip hop tour that Wiz Khalifa co-headlined with A$AP Rocky last year will return to North America this summer. Wiz (the tour's founder) plays again, this time with Young Jeezy, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Rich Homie Quan, Sage the Gemini, IAMSU! and DJ Drama. The tour hits the NYC-area for shows on July 31 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater and August 3 at PNC Bank Arts Center. Tickets for the whole tour go on sale Friday (4/25) at 10 AM with Ticketmaster/Facebook/Live Nation presales starting Thursday (4/24) at 10 AM. Citi Cardmember presales are ongoing. All dates are listed below.
Meanwhile, Wiz and Ty Dolla $ign will be in the NYC-area sooner for Hot 97 Summer Jam on June 1. Tickets for that one-day festival, which also includes 50 Cent, Nas, The Roots, Action Bronson and more, are still available.
Ty Dolla $ign also plays a free NYC show two days after Summer Jam in Red Hook Park (6/3), as part of the 2014 Summerstage season.

Jadakiss at Best Buy Theater in 2011 (more by Brook Bobbins)
Jadakiss is teaming up with Nas collaborator AZ and Smif-N-Wessun as part of an all-NYC hip hop lineup for DJ Doo Wop's 20th Anniversary Concert which happens on May 7 at Stage 48. The show also features Nine, AZ's fellow Firm member Nature, Mic Geronimo, and Royal Flush. Tickets for that show are on sale now.
Jadakiss is also featured on "Hit Em Up," the new single from Tyga's forthcoming album, Hotel California (due out 4/9), which prominently samples C-Murders "Down 4 My N's" and was produced by DJ Mustard. In addition to taking its name from Tupac's Biggie diss track, it also features old Pac verses spliced together to create a "new verse." According to Tyga, although it shares that title, this song isn't actually a diss track itself. You can listen for yourself below.
Diplo at Pier 94 - 12/30/12 (via Chris Neil)
Diplo, who was just in NYC opening for Afrojack at Pier 94 on December 30 (pictured above, video below), will be doing an interesting run of shows this month. On January 20, the super producer will set out to play four cities in one day. He'll begin at 6 PM in Baltimore's Ottobar, then make it to Philly's Sound Garden Hall at 9:30, Atlantic City's Mixx @ Borgata Resort at 12:30 AM, and finally he'll end in NYC at The Westway at 3:30 AM. Tickets for the NYC show are on sale now. The flyer for the shows is below.
In related news, Diplo's Major Lazer project will release its new album, Free the Universe, on February 19 via Mad Decent/Downtown. The album features guest spots from Santigold, Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors), Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Wyclef Jean, Flux Pavillion, and others. You can check out the cover art, tracklist, and video for the song with Flux Pavillion, "Jah No Partial," below.
The Go Go's are playing Best Buy Theater on October 11. Tickets for that show go on sale today at noon.
Tyga is playing Best Buy Theater on September 20 with Kirko Bangz, Iggy Azalea, Sterling Simms, and Jinsu. Tickets for that show go on sale today at noon.

Azealia Banks at Coachella 2012 (more by David Andrako)
Azealia Banks, who recently canceled a bunch of summer shows due to "recording commitments," has now added more shows to her summer schedule. Most of those are in Europe, but she was just added to the Hot 97 Summer Jam lineup which goes down in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on June 3. The rest of the lineup includes Nicki MInaj, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Waka Flocka Flame, Young Jeezy, J. Cole, Wale, and more. Tickets for the fest are available. The full lineup is listed below.
UPDATE: She actually plays the Summer Jam pre-show in the parking lot with the even more impressive lineup of Pusha T, Big K.R.I.T., A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, and Fred the Godson. Your Summer Jam ticket gets you into the pre-show.
In addition to her fickle live schedule, Azealia Banks continues to move around her schedule of releases as well. As of right now, she's planning to get her delayed 1991 EP out on May 29 digitally and June 12 physically via Interscope. The cover art for that EP is below. She'll follow it with the Fantastic mixtape, which is due out on July 4, and includes her recently dropped track, "Jumanji," which was produced by Hudson Mohawke and Nick Hook. Grab that track above or stream it below. Finally, her debut full length, Broke With Expensive Taste, which is presumably the album she's been working on with Paul Epworth, is due out in September.
In other news, fresh off her feud with Iggy Azalea (who plays SOBs TONIGHT [5/17]), she's taken a stab at Lil Kim, who refused to collaborate with Azealia because Lil Kim wanted to write her own verse. Azealia had written it for her and insisted, "Everybody knows Lil Kim doesn't write her own raps." We already know that Kim's got beef with Nicki Minaj. Azealia, however, seems down with Nicki and would possibly collaborate with her, but thinks she should ditch the "ugly wigs and ugly costumes." Maybe they'll meet up when they both play Summer Jam next month. On the other hand, Azealia Banks has collaborated with Missy Elliot and Rye Rye on a remix of M.I.A.'s "Bad Girls." Look for that soon.
