Cloud Cult at Bowery, 2008 (more by Chris La Putt)

Hi Cloud Cult Friends!Though I just saw them live at the end of October, I didn't even realize Craig was sick until I went to Clould Cult's site to see what they were up to in relation to the just-announced tour dates. Glad Craig is doing great after after cancelling dates in January to undergo noninvasive heart surgery.A big thanks to everyone for the support through Craig Minowa's (Cloud Cult's singer/songwriter) recent health issues. The loving emails and positive energy were incredibly appreciated and powerful during the darkest parts of the experience. The heart surgery was a big success, and Craig now has more energy than ever!
The healing has gone so well, in fact, that we're ready to take the stage this week (Mankato, MN) for the first time since December of last year... We also have a new cellist, Daniel Zamzow, who has learned a massive amount of material in a very short period of time. As a band, we're excited to bring some new songs (from past albums) to the stage...
We look forward to seeing your shining faces again soon...
Cloud Cult
With new cellist in tow, Cloud Cult will hit the road in April and May to play some more U.S. dates, including a pair of NYC-area shows at Maxwell's on 5/24 (on sale now) and Music Hall of Williamsburg on 5/27 (AmEx presale begins at noon). Welcome back Craig. All tour dates listed below...

Since June 5th...
The Knitting Factory’s ticketing-by-text service is powered by the ShopText mobile commerce platform. With just a credit card, a text-enabled mobile phone and an email account, registration is simple. Whenever concertgoers see a Knitting Factory concert listing with a ShopText logo, they can purchase tickets directly from their mobile phone by simply texting the event’s unique show code to the number 467467. After checking out, the concertgoer receives a secret PIN to confirm all future purchases with a text message. Alternatively, a concertgoer can first register and create a secure ShopText account via online at www.shoptext.com. All transactions are completely secure. So for instance, if you wanted to get tickets to one of the Meat Puppets shows, you would use the code MEAT1 or MEAT2. If you wanted to see Yo Majesty on September 27th, then you would use the code YOMAJ.
