As mentioned, Fleetwood Mac are going on a tour in 2013 which hits the NYC area on April 8 at MSG, April 20 at Mohegan Sun in CT, and Prudential Center on April 24 in NJ. Tickets for those shows went on AmEx presale earlier this week and Live Nation presales begin today (12/14) at 10 AM (password: "FMAC"). General on-sale starts Monday (12/17) at 10 AM.
In related news, in honor of the tour Fleetwood Mac will release a 35th anniversary reissue of their classic album, Rumours. The reissue is due out on January 29 via Rhino. The reissued vinyl album will include the Rumours-era b-side, "Silver Springs" There's also an expanded edition which includes a disc of live recordings from the Rumours tour and a disc of early takes and demos from the recording sessions. Plus, there will also be a deluxe edition with everything in the expanded edition, in addition to another disc of outtakes and a DVD documentary about the album called The Rosebud Film.

While the general on-sale happens on Monday, December 17 at 10 AM, tickets go AmEx today at 10 AM for the MSG and Prudential Center shows, and Wednesday (12/12) at 10 AM for the Mohegan Sun show. As mentioned, Quicksand are going on a full reunion tour in January which culminate in NYC on January 30 at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show went on sale today and sold right out, but the band have added a second show happening at the same venue a day later (1/31). Tickets for the new show go on sale today (11/30) at 3 PM.

After playing MSG on Tuesday (11/27), Neil Young & Crazy Horse continued their tour with Patti Smith at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly last night (11/29). The setlist was the same as MSG (and basically the rest of the tour), except for the encore which Neil sometimes changes up, treating Philly to the massive "Like A Hurricane." The full setlist is below.
Patti Smith isn't on that one but you can still catch her with NY&CH in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center on Monday (12/3) (tickets).

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, The Madison Square Garden Company and The Weinstein Company announced today that Bon Jovi, Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder will be joining the esteemed lineup of artists of the "12-12-12" concert on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden, with proceeds to benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Tickets to this one-night-only special event will go on sale on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 12 p.m. (ET). The all-star lineup includes, Jon Bon Jovi who will now be performing with Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Roger Waters, Kanye West and The Who, with other top artists to be announced. The concert will be presented by Chase.No Rolling Stones. And:
Tickets for "12-12-12" will go on sale Monday, December 3 at 12:00 p.m. ET through Ticketmaster phones, outlets and www.ticketmaster.com, www.thegarden.com and www.radiocity.com. As mentioned, Yeah Yeah Yeahs will play a Hurricane Sandy Relief benefit at the very intimate Union Pool on December 8 with Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band (aka Tunde Adebimpe from TVOTR, Alex Holden, Ryan Sawyer, and Josh Werner) and DJ Creep.
Tickets for the show go on sale today (11/27) at noon. Options include $75 tickets (with a complimentary Jameson cocktail) or $100 tickets (which includes a silkscreened poster designed by Tunde Adebimpe and a cocktail). All proceeds go to Waves for Water.

Jeff Mangum was one of the many notable artists to play the Occupy Wall Street-related show at Le Poisson Rouge last night (11/15), along with Lee Ranaldo (who took one of the pictures above), Guy Picciotto, Tunde Adebimpe, Kyp Malone Janeane Garofalo, Lizz Winstead, Max Silvestri, and others. The show was an Occupy Wall Street benefit to raise money for Strike Debt. If you weren't at the show, did you stream it live?
