UPDATED VIDEO SHOOT INVITE: "We need YOU to play a theater-goer or punk rocker in the new music video for Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, directed by Tom Scharpling. Wear your finest theater-going or punk-rocking attire and come to The Bell House in Brooklyn by 4pm on Thursday, June 17th. You'll be done and ready to head home (or to Ted's in-store at Generation Records) by 7pm." [RSVP]

While in town for an instore at Generation Record on Thursday (6/17), Ted Leo will also be filming a video for his song "Bottled in Cork," directed by Tom Scharpling (of WFMU's The Best Show). The filming for that will be in Brooklyn at a "top secret filming location" around 4pm on the same day. When the video shoot was announced yesterday, we got confused because it seemed to be happening at the same exact time as the instore. Ted has since cleared that up, sort of. His message with more details and how to RSVP for the video shoot are below.

Ted Leo heads out on tour with Screaming Females after these NYC things, and will be back for Siren Fest in July.

On Saturday [August 29th], we are shooting a music video for Peelander-Z and the success of the video depends upon you and everyone showing up! The audience is a BIG part of the video and if your name is Mike or John, you'll actually be heavily featured in this! Major Lazer (Diplo) @ Other Music - June 15, 2009 (knnth_stvns)

The DJ/producer duo Major Lazer (aka Diplo and Switch) are currently touring in support of their new album. On Saturday they played SOB's in NYC, and on Monday there was an Other Music in-store. Today (6/19) they make two appearances in Philly. This Saturday (6/20) they are scheduled to be in Baltimore AND DC. Santogold video shoot in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY - June 18, 2008

Gothamist stopped by that Santogold video shoot in Red Hook Yesterday, possibly on their way to the opening of the new IKEA.

Amy spotted the above sign in Red Hook today.
