Winter is coming… for the MTA. We don’t mean the L Train apocalypse, either. Meanwhile, George R. R. Martin continues to do almost anything but finish The Winds of Winter – he recently made a video guide to the best NYC pizza.

The theme of 2018’s Village Halloween Parade, “I AM a Robot,” brought lots of robot and android-inspired costumes, but the biggest trend of the night was politics, with tons of people dressing up as Donald Trump, his wife Melania, Brett Kavanaugh, Vladimir Putin, and other political figures.

The 2018 edition of New York Comic Con wrapped up on Sunday (10/7) at Jacob Javits Center with lots more cosplay and a panel on the upcoming tenth season of Archer, where cast members and executive producer Matt Thompson talked Burt Reynolds, Anthony Bourdain, “phrasing,” and more.

One of the biggest pop culture events on the East Coast, New York Comic Con kicked off its 2018 edition on Thursday lots of excellent cosplay. Plus, Watchmen artist and co-creator Dave Gibbons on the upcoming HBO series, trailer premieres from Daredevil, She-Ra and The Princesses of Power, Origin, Siren, and a first look at the animated Harley Quinn series.

‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ sweeps, plus ‘Barry,’ John Mulaney, Betty White, Game of Thronesand more.

Maybe George will give us an update on the new ’Game of Thrones’ book that is just a little over deadline.
