Since the Brooklyn indie band broke up in 2018, its members have become even more two prolific, and two of them release anticipated albums with their newer projects this week. We caught up with each of them to discuss the music they’re making now…

In honor of Brooklyn indie label Double Double Whammy’s 10th anniversary, the label is putting out a compilation with 14 current and former DDW artists covering their labelmates.

The debut LP from Spirit Was, and the third album from Trace Moutains, are both due out this fall.
