Mike Watt recently said he filmed four songs with the reunited Porno For Pyros, and now the band’s first public ”appearance” in over two decades has been confirmed.

The virtual edition of Lollapalooza will also include a Porno For Pyros reunion, archival footage of sets from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Run the Jewels, Lorde, Alabama Shakes, Chance the Rapper, OutKast, Arcade Fire, other new performances and more.

”The whole thing is a shit show,” Lollapalooza cofounder Marc Geiger told Bob Lefsetz.

Sonic Youth, Einstürzende Neubauten, The Minutemen, Meat Puppets and more feature in this documentary about a creative collective who put on wild, very DIY shows in the California desert in the mid-’80s.

The virtual event will feature ”performances from around the city and beyond, epic archival sets from Chicago and the festival’s six international editions, never-before-seen footage from the 1990s and much more.“
