PR Presents’ unique all-women collaborative concert series The Hum returns for shows every Wednesday in May at House of Yes in Brooklyn. Julie Byrne, Breanna Barbara, Glasser and more are also playing.

In addition to a Treepeople reunion and Built to Spill, the initial lineup includes George Clinton, Zola Jesus, Andrew WK, Titus Andronicus, U.S. Girls, Twin Peaks, and more.

There’s also an upcoming Planned Parenthood benefit in NYC with CupcakKe.

Mirah has a new EP on the way titled Sundial, which is a collaboration with composer Jherek Bishoff that has her reworking songs from her catalog.

The festival begins this Thursday (5/18) and runs through June 8, also including Marc Ribot, Steve Gunn, Gyan Riley, Trixie Whitley, Ava Mendoza, Indian slide guitarist Debashish Bhattacharya, and more.

The Ohio music festival also includes Rodriguez, Cloud Nothings, Parquet Courts, Big Thief, Jay Som, Margaret Glaspy, Aldous Harding, and more.

“‘Your Voice on the Radio’ is the only track on the record I wrote with a specific thematic goal in mind, which was to pay tribute to those classic, slightly cheesy boy/girl duets of yesteryear,” Dave tells us.
