This week’s Notable Releases include Kacey Musgraves’ ”trippy” new album, Amen Dunes’ biggest-sounding LP yet, The Shacks’ dreamy debut, and more.

The new Amen Dunes album features contributions from Delicate Steve, Nick Zinner, and Gus Seyffert, and it was produced by Chris Coady (Beach House, Grizzly Bear, etc).

They were introduced by ‘Meet Me in the Bathroom’ author Lizzy Goodman, and Kings Theatre screened the band’s new documentary ‘There Is No Modern Romance’ ahead of their triumphant hometown return.

Last week (10/20), Yeah Yeah Yeahs released the expanded reissue of their classic 2003 debut Fever to Tell (and an accompanying documentary). They’re doing just a few shows in support of their release, their first proper shows in four years, and the first one was at LA’s Fonda Theatre last night…
