The 2018 edition of Pop Montreal happens September 26-30 at venues all over the Canadian city.

After getting rained out in 2016 and taking 2017 off, Levitation festival returned to downtown Austin this past weekend (April 26-30) with artists across the spectrum of what gets called psych.

If you’ve seen Cherry Glazerr live in the past year or so, you may have noticed that keyboardist/backup vocalist Sasami Ashworth is just as much of a force as band leader Clementine Creevy. Sasami actually isn’t in Cherry Glazerr anymore, but she’s currently making her own music…

No Joy have also added more dates to their spring tour with Baths.

Levitation fest returns to Austin after two years off, happening April 26 – 29 at venues all over the downtown area. The festival has been releasing official mixtapes featuring music from this year’s artists. We’re premiering the second of those, which was put together by Al Lover, and features Oh Sees, Electric Wizard, Ministry, The Make-Up, Bedouine, Panda Bear, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Parquet Courts, Ariel Pink, Slowdive, Suuns, OM, and lots more.

“Obsession” melds No Joy’s ethereal harmonies with Sonic Boom’s trancelike style. Their collaborative EP is out March 30.

Levitation has also announced daily lineup for its 2018 edition which happens April 26 – 29 at venues in downtown Austin.

The coast-to-coast tour starts in March.
