While Lollapalooza takes over Chicago’s Grant Park this weekend, up in Montreal, Osheaga kicked off its 2018 edition on Friday (8/3) with sets from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lykke Li, St. Vincent, Travis Scott, Portugal. The Man, Sylvan Esso (as well as Nick Sandborne’s solo project, Made of Oak), Jenny Lewis, Julien Baker, Manchester Orchestra, James Blake, Alex Cameron, Chromeo, and more.

The Montreal festival also includes James Blake, Anderson .Paak, Lykke Li, The National, Blondie, Tyler the Creator, Brockhampton, Julien Baker, Jenny Lewis, Blood Orange, and still tons more.

The Montreal festival is gradually revealing its lineup, which so far includes The National, Blondie, Tyler the Creator, Manchester Orchestra, Franz Ferdinand, Portugal the Man, Odesza, Alvvays, and more.

The Weeknd headlined the final day of this year’s Osheaga in Montreal, and sets from Run the Jewels, Alabama Shakes, Crystal Castles, Tegan & Sara, Foxygen, Denzel Curry, Flatbush Zombies, Cherry Glazerr, Phantogram, Ho99o9, and more rounded out the day.

Osheaga continued Saturday with sets from Broken Social Scene, Father John Misty, Liam Gallagher, Beach Slang, Temples, Dawes, and more.

Osheaga got off to a rainy start, but Lorde made the best of it and covered Martha Wainwright, as well as bringing out Tove Lo for “Homemade Dynamite.” Justice, MGMT, Hamilton Leithauser, 6lack, Car Seat Headrest, and others also played the first day of the Montreal festival.

The Weeknd continues to have a busy 2017. For one, he’ll be playing this year’s edition of the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party at NYC’s Plaza Hotel on September 8, as well as appearing on the cover of the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine…

Sets at Montreal music festival Osheaga are on hold while severe weather passes through the area.
