Rush

Tool brought out Billy Strings for the first show of their fall North American tour, and they had another guest on hand for the penultimate date.

The tour is in support of the Rush frontman’s memoir ‘My Effin’ Life’ that will be out on November 14.

As with the show in London at the beginning of the month, it was an all-star celebration of the late drummer’s life, with appearances by members of Queen, Rush, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Soundgarden, as well as Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, Dave Chappelle, Alanis Morissette, and more.

Liam Gallagher opened the star-studded Wembley Stadium show fronting Foo Fighters with 2 Oasis hits, and guests also included members of Queen, AC/DC, The Police, Oasis, Supergrass, The Pretenders, reunions of Them Crooked Vultures and The James Gang, and more.

Liam Gallagher, Josh Homme, Chrissie Hynde, Dave Chappellle, members of Queen, Rush, The Police, Jane’s Addiction, and more are set to appear.

The tour has Primus playing Rush‘s ‘A Farewell to Kings‘ in full.

The 10th Anniversary edition comes in a deluxe gatefold jacket with newly expanded artwork, and the 2 LP set has been pressed on ghostly green vinyl. Primus are on tour currently, too.
