Australian ex-pat Richard Davies has made lots of records over the last 20 years but he hasn’t released new music as The Moles since 1994. That changes next week (8/12) with Tonight’s Music, a sprawling, 24-track double album that finds his knack for idiosyncratic pop still intact…

Richard Davies is set to release Tonight’s Music, his first album under The Moles name in 20 years, on August 12 via Fire. Davies made the record in Boston, NYC and Western Massachusetts with help from Bob Fay (Sebadoh), Malcolm Travis (Sugar), Jarvis Taveniere (Woods), and Dion Nania (Free Time)…
