The band’s new single pulls from both sludge and post-hardcore in a way that recalls bands like Glassjaw, Thrice, and related band Torche.

Brooks says that Torche ”only plan on reissuing out of print records some day” after their tour with Meshuggah.

Torche are about to begin a tour with Meshuggah and Converge, which vocalist Steve Brooks says will be his last tour with the band, and they’ve now released this new song…

”I just don’t have it in me to keep this going living on opposite sides of the country,” Steve writes.

Converge originally had to drop off the rescheduled Meshuggah/Torche tour, but now they’re back on the first leg, including the shows in NYC, Philly, Worcester, Chicago, and more…
