Converge bassist Nate Newton shared a huge, eclectic, genre-spanning list of his favorite albums of 2018, with punk, metal, hip-hop, and indie rock picks including War on Women, Daughters, Mazzy Star, Mitski, St. Vincent, Tomb Mold, Hot Snakes, Judas Priest, Cardi B, Deafheaven, Voivod, High On Fire, Boygenius, Author & Punisher, The Body, and more.

After Agalloch split up, 3/4 of the band formed Khorada with former Giant Squid vocalist Aaron Gregory. This year, they released their first album and just recently played their first show. They have two more this weekend…

As usual, it’s a very diverse list with indie rock, hip hop, country, Latin trap jazz, classical, folk, R&B, metal, and more. It’s also got that Doja Cat song ”Mooo!”

The initial lineup has been announced for Psycho Las Vegas 2019, and the festival is already looking pretty awesome…
