’Trainspotting’ author Irvine Welsh and ’Trainspotting’ director Danny Boyle are reteaming for a new film about storied UK independent label Creation Records (home of Oasis, My Bloody Valentine & more), and founder Alan McGee will be played by Spud from ‘Trainspotting.’ It’s a rise-and-fall tale that’s definitely in their wheelhouse, full of rock n’ roll, drugs, and impenetrable Scottish accents.
