‘In Heaven‘ will be out in October and features My Morning Jacket‘s Carl Broemel and Bo Koster, and Smashing Pumpkins‘ James Iha.

Heartless Bastards are back with their first album in five years, and they’ll be supporting it on tour this fall.

”I had an idea to make an album of all the songs we did as encores on the US and Them tour,” writes Roger Waters of this quarantine version of Pink Floyd The Final Cut track. ”We did ’Mother’ first. Had to do it remotely because of Covid 19. ’Two Suns in The Sunset’ is #2.”

‘Eraserland’ takes a more modest approach than its ambitious predecessor, but still results in one of Strand of Oaks’ most consistently rewarding albums.

The album features two members of My Morning Jacket, Vanessa Carlton, and others.
