Brockhampton dropped off the festival after cancelling all remaining US tour dates after parting ways with Ameer Vann.

Jack White and Queens of the Stone Age wrapped up the fest with back-to-back, nostalgia-inducing rock sets, while earlier in the day, Brockhampton gave us a taste of the future.

The group have also cancelled remaining US tour dates.

”I’ve never seen Ameer hurt anyone,” Kevin Abstract said in an Instagram Live video, but adding, “I also want people to know that we hold each other accountable for anything, any mistake.”

Ameer Vann said ”I’ve been in relationships where I’ve fucked up and disrespected my partners, I’ve cheated and been dismissive to my exes,” but ”although my behavior has been selfish, childish, and unkind, I have never criminally harmed anyone or disrespected their boundaries. I have never had relations with a minor or violated anybody’s consent.”

Season two of Netflix’s Dear White People came out today, along with its soundtrack featuring Tyler, The Creator, Brockhampton, Jidenna, DeJ Loaf, H.E.R., The Cool Kids, Zebra Katz, BbyMutha, and more.

The lineup also includes David Byrne, Blood Orange, Janelle Monae, Father John Misty, Brockhampton, Lily Allen, The Breeders, Tinashe, Sharon Van Etten, and many others.

Saturday at weekend two of Coachella included sets from Beyonce, Tyler, the Creator, Angel Olsen, David Byrne, Fleet Foxes, Brockhampton, Nile Rodgers & Chic, First Aid Kit, Cherry Glazerr, Priests, Otoboke Beaver and more.

Beyonce’s spectacular headlining set included a Destiny’s Child reunion and appearances from Solange and Jay-Z. David Byrne brought his “untethered” American Utopia show to Coachella, while Brockhampton’s energetic set (with a string orchestra and A-Trak as DJ) was another highlight.
