Brooklyn Rock Lottery

25 hand-picked musicians form five ad-hoc bands who must write songs and perform them the same day. Members of Phony Ppl, Jets to Brazil, Dirty Projectors, PC Worship and more will also be part of this year’s Brooklyn Rock Lottery.

As in years past, 25 hand-picked musicians will gather early that Saturday morning, put their names in a hat which will then be drawn to form “bands” who then must write songs, rehearse and perform them that night.

This year proceeds go to Feel the Music, The Trevor Project, The ACLU and Planned Parenthood.
