East Village Hi-Fi/Brownies space now called East Berlin, reopening this week

169 Ave A, which was also home to Coney Island Baby, and more recently, Lola, will reopen as East Berlin on Thursday (7/29).

Coney Island Baby is from the folks behind Niagara, Bowery Electric and Velvet Elk Records, and is set to open in May. Alejandro Escovedo is playing the first show (free tickets are “on sale”).
