The Jefferson Stop area of Bushwick, which is home to Elsewhere, House of Yes, and other spots, is getting a new restaurant / music venue: Turk’s Inn & The Sultan Room, which is a replica of the kitschy Wisconsin restaurant/club of the same name…

The free event includes hand-selected local food trucks, a merchant market of vendors selling original art, prints, jewelry, clothing and more, face and body painting, meet and greets with ”old school graffiti legends,” live-painting from over 40 street and graffiti artists, and, of course, live music.

Netflix is getting tax credits for the expansion, based on the creation and retention of over a hundred new jobs.
