Pitchfork and The Art Institute of Chicago threw their inaugural three-night Midwinter Fest throughout the museum on February 15-17.

The new event from Pitchfork and the Art Institute of Chicago features performances throughout the museum from Deerhunter, DJ Koze, Mount Eerie, William Basinski, Laurie Anderson, Kamasi Washington, Perfume Genius and more over three nights.

It was the second-to-last show at Brooklyn’s House of Vans which closes at the end of the month, and Circuit Des Yeux and Standing on the Corner were also on the bill.

The album also features vocals from Jessica Larrabee (She Keeps Bees), Katie Von Schleicher, and sisters Clementine and Valentine Nixon (Purple Pilgrims).

RSVP is open now to the second to last show at House of Vans Brooklyn before the venue closes, with headliner Deerhunter and two very cool just-announced openers.

The 2018 edition of Pitchfork Festival continued Saturday in Union Park with sets from Fleet Foxes, Kelela, The War on Drugs, This is Not This Heat, Blood Orange, Raphael Saadiq, Moses Sumney, Girlpool, Circuit Des Yeux, Nilüfer Yanya, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Zola Jesus, Berhana, and Paul Cherry.
