The Kinks’ ambitious 1969 album, ’Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire),’ is getting a deluxe 50th anniversary box set due out October 25 on BMG.

The Kinks’ Dave Davies released ’Decade’ last year which collected unreleased solo material dating from 1971 – 1979 and he’s just announced a North American tour in support of that.

Ray admits he hasn’t gotten his brother Dave Davies and drummer Mick Avory in the same room together yet, but he’s “working on it.” The Kinks broke up in 1996.
