Digable Planets brought their reunion tour to Webster Hall (videos & setlist)

While Butterfly remains active with Shabazz Palaces and Ladybug Mecca recently began focusing on her group BROOKZILL!, they also found time to team back up with Doodlebug for the Digable Planets reunion tour this year…

Prince Paul, Ladybug Mecca & more releasing album as BROOKZILL! (stream a track ft. Count Bass D)

The project aims to pull from both hip hop and Brazilian music, and was born out of Prince Paul’s trip to Brazil a decade ago, when he met Rodrigo Brandão. They added Digable Planets’ Ladybug Mecca and De La Soul collaborator Don Newkirk, and will release their debut album this October.
