Siege reuniting, announce show with Infest & Dropdead

The legendary and incredibly influential hardcore/grind band Siege have been broken up for some time, but they’re billed to play at least one show this year. No word yet on who’s in the band — original vocalist Kevin Mahoney and his replacement Seth Putnam both passed away in 2011 — but the show happens in July in Providence with Infest, Dropdead, and more.

Pig Destroyer have been playing with their new lineup since 2013, and they’ve played relatively similar setlists over that span of time (they usually just play a few shows a year). By virtue of being a grindcore band, they’re able to get through 20 songs during their set, making the most of their time by hitting material from all of their albums on Friday night.
