The third edition of Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner’s Eaux Claires festival was heavy on collaborations between performers, including Vernon and Dessner themselves. Paul Simon was joined by a classical ensemble, and many artists covered John Prine. Chance the Rapper, Danny Brown, Feist, Perfume Genius, Sylvan Esso, and Francis and the Lights were among others who played the festival.

Mountain Man are back; Amelia Meath also bringing Sylvan Esso to SXSW
Indie-folk trio Mountain Man are “coming out of hibernation” after a few years of inactivity to play Eaux Claires and contribute a (new?) song to Our First 100 Days. Amelia’s other band, Sylvan Esso, have shows lined up too, including SXSW.
