Fiona Apple said she’s ”hoping for early 2020” to release a new album, and while there are no updates on that front, she has popped up in a couple TV show end credits lately, including the series finale of ’The Affair.’

”I was supposed to be done a million years ago,” Fiona Apple says about the follow-up to 2012’s ’The Idler Wheel…,’ which she’s working on now.

Anna Calvi, Inara George, Los Angeles jazz singer Gina Saputo, and two more guest vocalists still to be announced also feature on ’I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This,’ which is due out in November.
