Third Man reissuing classic France Gall albums, throwing ye-ye parties (NYC, LA, Detroit, more)

Three classic albums by late ’60s French yé-yé star France Gall — Baby Pop, 1968 and Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son — are being reissued by Third Man Records on February 21. These will be the album’s first-ever American pressings.

One of the icons of the French ’60s pop Yé-yé scene, France Gall won the 1965 Eurovision song contest with the Serge Gainsbourg-penned “Poupee De Cire, Pou”pee De Son.” She was 70.
