Central Park's Great Lawn closed due to damage following Global Citizen Festival, who will pay for repairs
“Our team is now working to restore the lawn, hopefully in time to reopen this spring,” Central Park Conservancy spokesperson Matt Lawyue said.

Local group Women’s March Alliance organized the march on Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Saturday. Happening at the same time in Foley Square was the Women’s Unity Rally, held by the national Women’s March organization, which has been embroiled in allegations of anti-semitism.
