Halloween Parade

One of our favorite annual Halloween traditions in NYC, the Village Halloween Parade, returns for its 46th edition on October 31, and this year’s theme has been announced: ”Wild Thing!”

NYC’s only nighttime parade brought out thousands of revelers, in costumes ranging from funny, to scary, to sexy, to pop-culture inspired.

The theme of 2018’s Village Halloween Parade, “I AM a Robot,” brought lots of robot and android-inspired costumes, but the biggest trend of the night was politics, with tons of people dressing up as Donald Trump, his wife Melania, Brett Kavanaugh, Vladimir Putin, and other political figures.

One NYC’s biggest (and most beloved) Halloween events is the annual Village Halloween Parade, which celebrates its 45th edition on Wednesday with the theme “I AM a Robot!”
