New York Comic Con 2018 pics (Star Wars, Spider-Man & more from Thursday)

One of the biggest pop culture events on the East Coast, New York Comic Con kicked off its 2018 edition on Thursday lots of excellent cosplay. Plus, Watchmen artist and co-creator Dave Gibbons on the upcoming HBO series, trailer premieres from Daredevil, She-Ra and The Princesses of Power, Origin, Siren, and a first look at the animated Harley Quinn series.

'Heathers' TV series premieres in March (watch the first episode)

The anthology series adaptation of the classic 1988 pitch-black comedy premieres March 7. If you’re going to SXSW, Pitchfork is throwing a Heathers day party with Kelela, Kevin Morby, Shamir, Andrew W.K., Porches, Ought, Snail Mail, Lucy Dacus and more.
