DIY/low-fi cult legends Half Japanese have announced a new album, ‘Jump Into Love,‘ which will be out July 21 via Fire.

”’Happy Hearts’ is a very positive album,” says Jad. ”It’s good to stay positive.” The album is out in February via Kill Rock Stars, and you can check the whole thing out early in animated video form now.

”Since the original is basically just vocals and percussion, I thought an interesting approach to ‘covering’ the song would be to lay down my own vocals and piano on top of what Jad Fair was already doing,” Spencer said of his cover.
