They said their new album will be out very soon and the first single is expected this week.

Japandroids began their first tour in three years in their hometown of Vancouver last night (10/5) at The Cobalt. It was their first of four consecutive shows at the venue. Before announcing the tour, Japandroids posted some in-studio pictures, and now it feels like we’re one more step closer to a new album because… they played some new songs last night!
