Set against the early-’00s NYC music scene, ‘City on Fire‘ features a soundtrack full of music from the era including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Walkmen, The White Stripes, and more.

Muzz, the new collaboration between Paul Banks (Interpol), Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman), and Matt Barrick (Jonathan Fire*Eater/The Walkmen/Fleet Foxes), shared the song “Bad Feeling” a couple weeks back and have now released their first official single.

”I like to think of the song as a drum duel between two of my favorite drummers: Matt Barrick on drum kit vs. Ray Rizzo on congas. Not sure who wins.”

Walter (also of The Walkmen) plays a hometown Brooklyn show the day after the album comes out.
