Lee Ranaldo & Raül Refree’s Names of North End Women is out February 21. Lee and fellow SY member Steve Shelley will also participate in a Q&A for the upcoming NYC screening of punk documentary Desolation Center.

Where Does a Body End? is a new documentary about Swans made by director Marco Porsia who spent five years ”in the band’s tight inner circle,” filming ”rehearsals, songwriting sessions, the grind of life on the road, petty arguments and transcendent performances.”

Their album Names of North End Women comes out in February via Mute.

Lee Ranaldo joined Yo La Tengo to cover Sonic Youth, plus Todd Barry and more Christmas/Hanukkah Night 4 fun.

Former Sonic Youth guitarist/vocalist Lee Ranaldo has announced a collaborative album with Spanish musician/producer Raül Refree, who also worked on Lee’s last few solo albums (and produced Rosalía’s 2017 debut album Los ángeles)…
