Liars are back with a new album, titled Titles With The Word Fountain, which will be out via Mute on September 21 on cassette and digitally, and November 2 on vinyl. The 17 songs on the LP were recorded during the same sessions as last year's TFCF, but Angus Andrew doesn't see it as leftovers.
TFS features Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin, who were both in The Drones, that also features Lauren Hammel (High Tension) and Erica Dunn (Mod Con, Harmony) and released their debut LP earlier this year.
Liars composed the score to Jeremy Phillips’ directorial debut, ’1/1’ (One Over One), and the soundtrack will be released on July 20 via Mute. Created just after Liars’ 2014 album ’MessÆ, the soundtrack marks the last recordings by Angus Andrew and Aaron Hemphill before Hemphill amicably left the band.
