Anton Newcombe (Brian Jonestown Massacre), Carl Newman of The New Pornographers, Jennifer O’Connor, Craig Wedren, The Pastels, Mercury Rev and Modern Nature are among other musicians who have paid tribute to the late Mazzy Star co-founder.

Mazzy Star Rain Parade, Opal and Rainy Day co-founder David Roback has died at 61, according to a representative of the band. No cause of death has been given.
