NIck says he could not refuse an offer to attend “not just the most important, but the strangest, the weirdest…historical event in the UK of our age.”

Nick Cave says that “everything changed“ seeing The Pop Group perform in 1979. “[The Birthday Party], as a fledgling band, knew then what we needed to do.“

”It is often the case with us songwriter types because we have found that a more inquiring, more expansive, less-entrenched position serves us better in the pursuit of the illusive but beautiful idea,” Nick says.

Nick‘s fall solo tour, which features Radiohead‘s Colin Greenwood on bass, now has three NYC and L.A. shows.

”A.I. may very well save the world, but it can’t save our souls,” Nick says.

Nick will be accompanied by Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on this fall solo tour which includes two NYC shows.

”This song is bullshit,” Nick writes, ”a grotesque mockery of what it is to be human, and, well, I don’t much like it…”
