It was a very busy weekend for shows in NYC, and one of the many killer options on Saturday (9/9) was OctFest, the been and music festival put on by Pitchfork’s beer site, October, which took place at Brooklyn Hangar in Sunset Park.

The Brooklyn beer and music festival goes down this Saturday with Guided by Voices, Okkervil River, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, and more.

The one-day festival, which has unlimited tastings from over 40 breweries, will also feature The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Sadies and Kilo Kish.

It’s the latest in the ‘Our First 100 Days’ series.

The tour includes two intimate NYC shows at Joe’s Pub in July.
